Marina, Because the functionality will be replaced in 4.4, but there is no current replacement, a deprecation notice is not appropriate now. However, customers need some prior notification that this change will take place. Martin suggested that a KB article would be appropriate right now to make this announcement and give our users a heads-up, and then once it's done, we can add a Release Note to announce it in the product. I assigned this to you for now to create a KB article, and a new BZ should be created, assigned to me, to make a release note in the release where the change appears. Let us know what you think. Is it about deprecating the previous installer? But aren't we going to have a 1:1 feature match replacement wiht the installshield? Sandro, we need a bug for 4.4 to create an enhancement note in the 4.4 Release Notes. 3. Marina will edit the KCS in comment 7.
