*** Bug 186771 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Upstream bug about this: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=335831 I too have the same issue! Hi guys, This issue should be fixed in the latest fc5 updates of gnome-screensaver. Both gnome-screensaver-2.14.0-1.fc5.1 and gnome-screensaver-2.14.1-1.fc5.1 solve the issue where clicking or wheeling before the screensaver starts restarts the inactivity counting. Both also solve the issue where click/wheel are ignored during the fade to black. However, the final issue of having click/wheel exit a screensaver once it actually running is not solved (at least for floaters, the big clue squares, and the space images). Would you like a new bug for that case ? Or reopen ? Hi David, Yea, could you file a new bug and mention it in a comment in this bug? The thirs case of the mouse events not exiting screensaver is filed under bug 189335. |
