Will you be able to branch and build php-pecl-imagick in epel9? The EPEL Packaging SIG would be happy to be a co-maintainer if you do not wish to build it on epel9. ImageMagick is not yet available in EPEL-9 ImageMagick is now available in EPEL 9. FEDORA-EPEL-2022-c85347b8c7 has been submitted as an update to Fedora EPEL 9. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2022-c85347b8c7 FEDORA-EPEL-2022-c85347b8c7 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 9 stable repository. If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report. Would it be possible to also build this for the different PHP modules? PHP 8.0 is already EOL (including security support!) and therefore I'd rather use 8.1 or 8.2 which are available as module but fail to "switch-to" due to this imagick plugin. > Would it be possible to also build this for the different PHP modules?
EPEL build system doesn't support modules.
That is unfortunate. Thanks for the quick reply! I've posted some follow up questions on Discourse, in case someone is interested: https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/php-versions-and-modules-in-centos-stream-9/106678 |
