Near as I can tell, python-gevent is already in rhel9 - https://kojihub.stream.centos.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=3414 On the epel-devel ML, Stephen said:
> This is a RHEL/CentOS Stream buildroot only package. It is only available in the koji buildroot and will not be shipped. An equivalent package will need to be built in EPEL to make builds work.
Re-opening.
I don't have any RHEL9/CentOS9 machines to test this on (nor do I really use this package at all anymore). If anyone else would like to join as co-maintainer for python-gevent and branch it for EPEL9 I would be glad to add them. I'm working through the deps. (In reply to Orion Poplawski from comment #4) > I'm working through the deps. Any news here? Still blocked by dependencies. I've pinged the python-zope-testing package again. This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 36 development cycle. Changing version to 36. FEDORA-EPEL-2022-67960738dc has been submitted as an update to Fedora EPEL 9. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-EPEL-2022-67960738dc FEDORA-EPEL-2022-67960738dc has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 9 testing repository. FEDORA-EPEL-2022-67960738dc has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 9 stable repository. If problem still persists, please make note of it in this bug report. |
