Description Stefan Bluhm 2021-12-21 15:51:45 UTC
Please provide python3-gevent for EPEL-9.

Comment 1 Orion Poplawski 2021-12-29 15:12:03 UTC
Near as I can tell, python-gevent is already in rhel9 - https://kojihub.stream.centos.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=3414

Comment 2 Thomas Moschny 2021-12-30 08:31:21 UTC
On the epel-devel ML, Stephen said:

> This is a RHEL/CentOS Stream buildroot only package. It is only available in the koji buildroot and will not be shipped. An equivalent package will need to be built in EPEL to make builds work.

Re-opening.

Comment 3 Dan Callaghan 2022-01-09 22:10:08 UTC
I don't have any RHEL9/CentOS9 machines to test this on (nor do I really use this package at all anymore). If anyone else would like to join as co-maintainer for python-gevent and branch it for EPEL9 I would be glad to add them.

Comment 4 Orion Poplawski 2022-01-09 22:45:55 UTC
I'm working through the deps.

Any news here?

Comment 6 Orion Poplawski 2022-02-02 00:28:24 UTC
Still blocked by dependencies. I've pinged the python-zope-testing package again.

Comment 7 Ben Cotton 2022-02-08 20:21:14 UTC
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 36 development cycle.
Changing version to 36.
