Can this be fixed before dev freeze (15 nov) or should it be moved to 4.13?

Fix is not merged in 4.12 yet, moving to POST.

I'm increasing the severity to high as we need this fix in 4.12 as this fix is needed at other places as well, ex: RDR and MDR
