Description of problem:
Not really a bug (yet) - more of a question:

With 1.0 LTS reaching EOL in Nov 2025, will 1.4 LTS package be added to EPEL-9 repository?

I see no reason not to upgrade all epel packages to 1.4, since it's the next LTO release. Robert, I can do this if you like.

Gwyn, I think it makes sense to change the default Bugzilla assignee either to you or to Orion (see also bug #2322454 comment #2). My personal interest in ClamAV has lowered over the time and my last commit was a long time ago already.

I'm fine with it getting updated.  It's going to need a bit of work I think lining up deps, but feel free.  I'm pretty swamped myself so I don't think I have time at the moment.
