Description of problem:
The config file /etc/smartd.conf is missing from the rpm even though it
(misleadlingly) appears in the rpm file list

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
smartmontools-5.37-7.1.fc8

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. yum install smartmontools
2. ls /etc/smartd.conf
3. rpm -ql smartmontools

Seems like any easy and important fix.

You're right.  It's a bug but it's being solved in the bug #375791.
