*** Bug 471178 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Thank you for the bug report. This issue needs to be addressed by the upstream developers. Please submit a report at http://bugs.kde.org. You are requested to add the bugzilla link here for tracking purposes. Please make sure the bug isn't already in the upstream bug tracker before filing it. BTW is this still an issue with 4.1.4? I can't reproduce this problem with KDE 4.2.2 on Fedora 11. Opening a 105mb text file with kwrite takes only 280mb of RESident memory here. Can you still reproduce it with KDE 4.2.x on Fedora 9? Going to close this as WORKSFORME. Please feel free to reopen if it is still an issue, also you will need to file this upstream at http://bugs.kde.org |
