I think this is less reproducible, without correct entries in /usr/share/applications/defaults.list, which program ends up the default appears to be undefined. There are more .desktop files in defaults.list that are not present: gnome-gnumeric.desktop gnome-abiword.desktop brasero-ncb.desktop gthumb-importer.desktop Present files are: fedora-gnumeric.desktop fedora-abiword.desktop brasero-nautilus.desktop gthumb-import.desktop *** Bug 517640 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Thanks Edward for spotting all those, turns out we were still broken in F-12, which is pretty embarassing. Updated package is coming shortly. shared-mime-info-0.60-4.fc11 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 11. http://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/shared-mime-info-0.60-4.fc11 shared-mime-info-0.60-4.fc11 has been pushed to the Fedora 11 testing repository.
