Disable extensions, plugins and non-default themes. Clear cookies and cache. Exit the browser completely. Then restart the browser and attempt to replicate the crash.

Comment 3 Joachim Frieben 2010-08-07 10:57:05 UTC
- Running epiphany once again following instructions of comment #2, ABRT has
  created the new bug 622103.
- Disabling Javascript allows to avoid the crash at the price of loss of functionality.

Comment 4 d. johnson 2010-08-07 18:03:25 UTC
Javascript is not the same as Java.

You did not disable Flash, totem, rhythmbox, or java.

Please try to disable those and reproduce your bug.

Comment 6 Joachim Frieben 2010-08-09 13:58:29 UTC
1. After removal of package java-1.6.0-openjdk-plugin-1.6.0.0-41.b18.fc13.x86_64,
    epiphany stops crashing.
2. Browser package firefox-3.6.7-1.fc13.x86_64 using the same plugin does not
crash on said page. Occasionally, the interactive city map provided by this applet
even appears and allows various interactions.
3. Disabling plugins in menu "Preferences > Privacy" is -not- sufficient to suppress
the crash. Whereas the official Adobe Flash plugin does stop working then, the
Java applet keeps on crashing epiphany which appears to be an additional issue.
