NetApp is requesting the following discrete patch that was provided in this wholesale drive update: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=640225#c21 This bugzilla previously tracked the specific issue and has the patch that was already provided in this bugzilla. (Note that 640225 that contains the fix was already included and CLOSED DUPLICATE of bug 649489) Created attachment 464039 [details] Patch to fix one of 2 panics in lpfc function lpfc_scsi_cmd_iocb_cmpl discrete backport for 5.5z. See attachment below where this patch was originally attached. Patch was tested at Netapp. Also, patch was part of an lpfc driver update accepted into rhel5.6 (2nd link below). https://bugzilla.redhat.com/attachment.cgi?id=460146 (bz640225). http://post-office.corp.redhat.com/archives/rhkernel-list/2010-August/msg01276.html in kernel-2.6.18-194.30.1.el5 linux-2.6-scsi-lpfc-fix-panic-in-lpfc_scsi_cmd_iocb_cmpl.patch Based on comment 8 the patch has been tested by Netapp. Confirmed patch linux-2.6-scsi-lpfc-fix-panic-in-lpfc_scsi_cmd_iocb_cmpl.patch is applied in kernel 2.6.18-194.30.1.el5 correctly. Set SanityOnly. An advisory has been issued which should help the problem described in this bug report. This report is therefore being closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
