Two message files from Issue Tracker were invalid attachments thre and therefore not attached here. Arjan, any update on this? Do you need additional info from HP? They say this was OK on beta2 but broken on beta3. rawhide info ? how does phoebe2/beta4 work ? FROM ISSUE TRACKER 1/31/03.... With beta4, the following messages still appear in the dmesg log (although the OS claims to fix up the problem) ENABLING IO-APIC IRQs BIOS bug, IO-APIC#0 ID 2 is already used!... ... fixing up to 8. (tell your hw vendor) ...changing IO-APIC physical APIC ID to 8 ... ok. BIOS bug, IO-APIC#1 ID 3 is already used!... ... fixing up to 9. (tell your hw vendor) ...changing IO-APIC physical APIC ID to 9 ... ok. BIOS bug, IO-APIC#2 ID 4 is already used!... ... fixing up to 10. (tell your hw vendor) ...changing IO-APIC physical APIC ID to 10 ... ok. BIOS bug, IO-APIC#3 ID 5 is already used!... ... fixing up to 11. (tell your hw vendor) ...changing IO-APIC physical APIC ID to 11 ... ok. ................. checking TSC synchronization across CPUs: BIOS BUG: CPU#1 improperly initialized, has 2 usecs TSC skew! FIXED. ------------------------------------------------------ adding lspci -vv and demsg from beta 4. Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem persists. The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases, and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in the bug tracker at: http://bugzilla.fedora.us/ |
