This request was evaluated by Red Hat Product Management for inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux release. Product Management has requested further review of this request by Red Hat Engineering, for potential inclusion in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux release for currently deployed products. This request is not yet committed for inclusion in a release. Reminder: bug 810399 was the original cause for setting the dependency of rhn-setup-gnome >= 1.0.0-82 Fixed in subscription-manager.git: 2fcdd26c6674f45f7894940f07b3fa244118e879 Will appear in: subscription-manager-1.8.8-1 or any master build from here on out. We have successfully upgraded a rhel62 system to python-rhsm/subscription-manager version 1.8 Discalimer: The success of this bug fix by relaxing the dependency on rhn-setup-gnome >= 1.0.0-82 is at the cost of re-introducing bug 810399 which has been deemed less severe than not being able to upgrade a rhel62 system to use subscription-manager-1.8. Since the problem described in this bug report should be resolved in a recent advisory, it has been closed with a resolution of ERRATA.
