Description Matt Mahoney 2013-06-04 12:08:00 UTC
Description of problem:
When attempting to select a Volume Option from the Volume Options pull down list, the list at times auto collapse before the user has made the options selection. This is an intermittent issue, such that there is not a consistent set of steps to reproduce.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

bb1

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Navigate to the Volumes Tab
2. Select Volume
3. Click to Volume Options bug-tab
4. Click Add button
5. Select Option Key pulldown list (on Add Option dialog)

Actual results:
The list will at times auto collapse prior to the user selecting the desired volume option.

Expected results:

Comment 2 Prasanth 2013-08-22 10:33:51 UTC
The drop-down list gets refreshed every few seconds and the list collapses making it difficult for the user to select the desired option from the list.

This is happening always in Red Hat Storage Console Version: 2.1.0-0.bb9.el6rhs

Comment 5 Kanagaraj 2013-08-26 08:54:46 UTC
The volume options drop down is getting collapsed because of the component losing the focus. Also If the user start typing something in the option value text field, after entering some text the field will lose the focus.

The same issue can be reproduced in the Cluster tab by the following steps.
1) Go to Clusters tab
2) Create a new cluster named 'c1'
3) Select the 'Default' cluster in the table
4) Click on 'New' action, New Cluster popup will open, then start typing the name (give some sec delay b/w each charecters), the field will lose the focus.

The issue is fixed upstream in the patch http://gerrit.ovirt.org/#/c/16739/

But this patch has lot of framework upgrades, it will be a high risk if we want to include this in the 2.1 release.
