Tried to calibrate my W520 laptop screen with a ColorMunki

Comment 12 Ferry Huberts 2013-07-18 13:26:52 UTC
Newest update still doesn't work.
After being told to turn off calibration mode on the ColorMunki and pressing resume it sets there doing nothing. Pressing cancel makes it crash.

Richard, please make this work ;-)

Comment 13 Ferry Huberts 2013-07-18 13:27:50 UTC
sets --> sits

Comment 14 kartochka378 2013-10-21 19:21:34 UTC
Got same in F19 and just updated F20 Beta. Please, Color Munki unusable with standard GNOME color tools, command line argillcms work ok, but I want glamour "from box" of GNOME 3. Scenario is same, as soon as it ask to switch device to "self calibration" position and press next, it just do nothing (after pressing "Next"). After many time waiting i press only visible "cancel" button and got that crash. please fix it or make hints what debug steps I must do to help to solve it.

Tested with F20 TC3 (colord-1.1.4-1.fc20), same issue.

Comment 20 Paul Finnigan 2013-12-10 10:34:16 UTC
Richard,

Installed all packages and ran a Low Quality monitor calibration without problems. It all went well.

I have not had time to try anything else out but will as soon as I can.

Thanks

Comment 21 kartochka378 2013-12-10 16:33:09 UTC
Confirmed, it works. Rawhide + http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=6275126. Thanks a lot.

Comment 22 Paul Finnigan 2013-12-11 09:24:32 UTC
I have now tested it on two machines and it works OK. I have managed to perform Low, Medium and High quality calibrations.

There are some issues but they appear to be unrelated, for example you need to disconnect the colormunki USB cable before performing a second calibration. I will report these as new bugs as soon as I can.

Comment 23 Ferry Huberts 2013-12-11 09:43:18 UTC
Richard, can you roll out this patch on F19 too please?

Comment 24 Richard Hughes 2013-12-11 09:45:25 UTC
Great, thanks for the quick testing. I'll roll a new release today.
