problem still exists on the fc20-alpha livecd
fc20 beta system having problem booting some kernels after 3.10.x.fc19 (from 3.11.x.fc20 to 3.13.0-0.rc1.git0.1.fc21) so this bug stays open for now, but 3.13.0-0.rc1.git1.1.fc21 and 3.13.0-0.rc2.git0.1.fc21 have working brightness sliders so there is some progress. :')
no brightness slider freezes as of: kernel-3.12.5-300.fc20.x86_64 kernel-3.13.0-0.rc4.git0.1-fc21.x86_64 closing as errata. thanks.
