Installing the rhev-guest-tools on a Windows 8 32-bit virtual machine occasionally produced a warning about a missing signature for the VioStor driver, even though the signature was valid. This has now been fixed, and the warning no longer appears.

3.2.15 security signature issue on windows
Description of problem:
During installation of 3.2.15 on Windows 8 32bit (you have to have 3.3 setup for this VM as there's need for newer qemu-kvm-rhev) OS shows Windows Security dialog about driver signature issue. In the background there's installer with 'Installing Viostor Driver' in progress. Dialog details has nothing specific, just blury general info about valid signature and potentially malicious software... See screenshot.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.2.15
How reproducible:
100%
Steps to Reproduce:
1. install 3.2.15 on this OS
2.
3.
Actual results:
security issue
Expected results:
all should be without any error/warning
Additional info:
Pls try to install viostor driver from virtio-win package as QE can not reproduce it with virtio-win-1.6.6-1
I think rhev-guest-tools is built with wrong virtio-win drivers.
Move back to windows guest tools component
I obviously messed versions, comment #0 is about 3.2.15 and I close it based on comment #12 which mentiones 3.3.6. I can reproduce with 3.2.15 WGT on Windows 8 32bit running on RHEVM 3.3 (is18) environment.
