Description mmurray 2013-12-05 01:00:15 UTC
Description of problem:
Create Bug already opens in a new window when you click it and I love this as it means I don't lose the PressGang page i'm viewing and might be reporting a bug about.

It would be great for workflow if a user could right-click on the menu items at the top of the interface (e.g. DocBuilder, Create a Topic, Create a Spec, etc.) to choose to open them in a new tab too.

I think such action would be incredibly useful for the DocBuilder menu item at least. I often find I'm editing a topic and want to have DocBuilder open too in another tab so I can see a related piece of text. Perhaps rather than right-clicking and choosing to open in a new tab, the DocBUilder menu item should open in a new tab by default just as Create Bug does?

As a current workaround, in the browser I duplicate the current tab I have open and then click the menu item I want. Not terrible but could be improved with this RFE.
