can't compile some packages

Description of problem:
Something get broken between 126.96.36.199.5-4 and 188.8.131.52.5-6 versions.
While with 184.108.40.206.5-4 everything compiles OK, with 220.127.116.11.5-6 'ld' crashes
with SIGSEGV while compiling, for example, zip-2.3-17.rpm
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
1. install binutils 18.104.22.168.5-6
2. try to build zip-2.3-17
Actual Results: ld will crash with SIGSEGV
