Description of problem:
Booting Fedora Core (Test) with PCMCIA CD-Rom on Vaio Z600TEK, using driver
disk pcmciaadd.img, choosing install method "all" anaconda reboots by the first
package every time with something like "abnormal installation". Trying an ftp
installation over network anaconda reboots after ~400 Packages, variously, with
the same error message.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install Fedora Core on Z600TEK (by CD-Rom and driver disk or ftp)
2. choose all packages
3. just press "install"

Actual Results: The screen turns blue, error message "abnormal installation"
occurs and system reboots.

Expected Results: normal installation

How much RAM is in your system?
Comment 2 Dominique Petersen 2003-09-29 12:51:48 EDT
My Vaio Z600TEK has 256MB RAM (upgraded). Instead of the original HDD there is
the Hitachi IC25N040ATCS05 installed, but this doesnt seems to be the problem.

Is test3 any better? Are there any messages about X dying on tty1 or oopsen on
Comment 4 Jeremy Katz 2004-04-15 00:35:48 EDT
Closing due to inactivity. Please reopen if you continue to see
problems with the final FC1 release.
Comment 5 Dominique Petersen 2004-04-15 03:07:49 EDT
Yes, the offical release of FC1 works for me great and installs
without any problem. Thanks.
