Another user experienced a similar problem: I have no idea, only just found the crash report. reporter: libreport-2.1.11 backtrace_rating: 1 cmdline: /usr/lib64/firefox/firefox http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/mjm-fedora-f19.html#mediaplayers crash_function: g_settings_set_property executable: /usr/lib64/firefox/firefox kernel: 3.12.8-300.fc20.x86_64 package: firefox-26.0-6.fc20 reason: firefox killed by SIGTRAP runlevel: N 5 type: CCpp uid: 1000
Can you reproduce it please?
(In reply to Martin Stransky from comment #12) > Can you reproduce it please? Unfortunately, despite repeated attempts, I cannot reproduce the crash or even a glitch in the process. Note there has been a Firefox version revision and a kernel update since the problem occurred. Note also that the same website -- http://mjmwired.net/resources/mjm-fedora-f19.html#mediaplayers -- and the same step in that website's howto for the media players install that takes us to http://mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/codecs/ -- is reported by Michael Gooch with the same problem in Comment 11. My gut tells me this bug may be a namesake of Fedora 20's project name ;-)
Okay, thanks for the info :)
