Description of problem: The fix for the bug 1046809 [https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1046809] introduced a problem when selecting the "Other OS" for PPC64 or any other architecture, except x86_64. That is because was created a DEFAULT_OS_ID in the AsyncDataProvider Class and it is being used as the system default OS. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.5 (since bug 1046809 has this target) How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Configure a PPC64 Cluster, Host and Storage. 2. Create a VM selecting the "Other OS" as VM OS. Actual results: The architecture of selected os is x86_64 and not ppc64. Fields, as display type, shows x86_64 compatible itens. Expected results: The selected default OS must have ppc64 architecture. Additional info: The field "Operating System" shows two options with the same name "Other OS", one of them is ppc64 and the other x86_64, but after create a VM with any of both, the selected one will be x86_64 one.
Setting target release to current version for consideration and review. please do not push non-RFE bugs to an undefined target release to make sure bugs are reviewed for relevancy, fix, closure, etc.

Verified in rhevm-3.5.0-0.12.beta.el6ev.noarch (vt3.1). Verification steps (from comment 0): 1. Configure a PPC64 Cluster, Host and Storage. 2. Create a VM selecting the "Other OS" as VM OS. Result: The default chosen "Other OS" selection is of ppc64 architecture and other VM paramteres, like display type, are also related only to ppc64. In VM dialog, the "Other OS" option is present only once.
oVirt 3.5 has been released and should include the fix for this issue.
