i cam unable to reproduce this issue. could you create a short video using the latest master or 6.1.x branches if it's not too much effort?

Video: Steps to reproduce

If an user switch to another profile (RuleFlow or Simple) and the user returns back to full profile then icons disappear. If Designer is refreshed then the full profile works properly.

Please see attached video, i test with master and 6.1.x and it seems fine to me.

Your video file looks fine. I will test this with new versions of designer and I will report here which version works well.

Comment 12 Sona Mala 2014-07-17 16:29:12 UTC
This feature works for 6.1.0 DR1. Unfortunately, there is another problem which may be connected to this issue.

Please, watch carefully your video. The Object library is not changed (it shows still the full perspective). Despite of the fact that the functionality of Quick Shape Menu has been changed.

If you watch carefully on my video then you will see that the perspective of the object library is changing.

Comment 13 Sona Mala 2014-09-23 15:39:03 UTC
How I mentioned in comment#12, the selector of perspectives changes just a cookie and not a content of Object library.

So if an user wants to change a perspective, he or she have to reopen a process.

The verification of this issue on 6.1.0 DR3 is blocked until the switching of perspective will be fixed.

Comment 16 Sona Mala 2014-12-04 14:08:18 UTC
This issue was verified on BPMS 6.1.0 ER2.
