Description Ondra Machacek 2014-02-24 14:06:03 UTC
Description of problem:
If there is big count of users in LDAP, then searching/working with big count of
users is not comfortable. Engine is really slow.
Please provide paging for big list of items.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.4.0-0.11.beta3.el6

How reproducible:
always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add active directory with many users(100k+) to engine.
2. Search for user.

Actual results:
Engine displays all users.

Expected results:
Display only limited number of users and provide paging support.

I tend to close this as wontfix as there is no sense if returning infinite results into dialog, user should refine his search term.

this bug is not about infinite userlists, but about large lists, so I really
don't get the argument?

UI should not fetch more than 1000 (max) results, I even consider 100...

I would have closed this as WONTFIX, per comment#3.

Comment 5 Alon Bar-Lev 2014-08-22 06:23:41 UTC
Closing as maximum result which is 1000 or so are manageable within single list.
