Description of problem: GNOME, default, and KDE window managers start; LXDE and Afterstep don't.

Note that kdm hasn't updated, but the kernel did;

kernel-3.14.3-200.fc20.x86_64


How reproducible: always


Steps to Reproduce:
1. from the login screen, select LXDE
2. enter credentials
3. back at the login screen after a too-fast-to-see message

Actual results:
back at the login screen


Expected results:
log in to window manager
