picture worth a-1000 words

Description of problem:

When Creating a new ISCSI domain a pop up window shows the available Luns that can be used, and greys out the Luns which are part of a domain.
one should expect to see same behaviour when creating a new direct Lun disk,
but it isn't the case (refer to pictured attached)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
vdsm version:
vdsm-cli-4.14.7-1.el6ev.noarch

engine version:
rhevm-3.4.0-0.18.el6ev.noarch

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
Setup: have a DC with ISCSI domain(Not all Luns should be used)

1.Create a new ISCSI domain,view window,cancel operation
2.Create a new direct Lun,view window
3.

Actual results:
please view attached pictures

Expected results:
The pop up window (when creating direct lun disk) should grey out the used luns

Daniel/Sean, AFAIK, this was intentional (perhaps for fleecing needs)?
Any insight?

Yes, the behavior is by design. For DirectLUN disks, we don't gray out LUNs used by storage domains; instead, a warning is displayed in the dialog when selecting such LUNs. Marking as duplicate of bug 980162.
