Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

No installation media

Description of problem:

Enabled and Synchronized the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 Server (Kickstart) x86_64 product and then tried to edit the Operating System automatically generated. Noticed that architecture was not set to x86_64 and when I the Installation Media tab, there was nothing there for me to select from.

OS architecture was not selected

Comment 5 Og Maciel 2014-05-20 22:03:18 UTC
May be caused by https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1099664 ?

Comment 6 Brad Buckingham 2014-05-27 14:40:28 UTC
Created redmine issue http://projects.theforeman.org/issues/5942 from this bug

Comment 7 Brad Buckingham 2014-05-31 21:14:21 UTC
I have an install of Snap 7 / Compose 2 (katello-1.5.0-25.el6sat.noarch)

I tried to reproduce the error by doing the steps below (all from the UI); however, my scenario/install didn't see the same behavior:
- created a new org (ECME_Corporation)
- imported a manifest
- enabled repos for 6Server rpm & kickstart for x86_64
- synced 6Server kickstart repo
- once the sync was finished went to Hosts -> Operating Systems
- opened RHEL Server 6.5
  - observed x86_64 arch is selected
  - observed "ECME_Corporation/Library RedHat Server 6.5 x86_64" installation media is listed and selected

Is this the same scenario that you followed?
Are you still seeing this issue with the latest compose?

Comment 8 Og Maciel 2014-05-31 21:36:41 UTC
I'm pretty sure this was caused by some of the initial Pulp 2.4 issues we had early on with the installer. I definitely did not see this happen again and am willing to close it for now.
