Description Michal Skrivanek 2014-06-13 11:05:15 UTC
EL7 QEMU has this nice compression option to reduce the amount of data needed to be transferred during the live migration in certain workloads
let's use it!

some additional statistics should be added as part of bug 918410

Comment 2 Francesco Romani 2014-06-13 11:10:37 UTC
taking the bug

Comment 3 Scott Herold 2014-06-13 13:56:02 UTC
It looks like this has a dependency for RHEL 7 correct?

Comment 4 Michal Skrivanek 2014-06-13 14:02:07 UTC
yes. On the bright side on 7.0 and not 7.1 like most of the other things:-)

Comment 6 Israel Pinto 2015-10-07 15:05:48 UTC
Verify with version :
RHEVM: 3.6 build: rhevm-3.6.0-0.18.master.el6.noarch
VDSM:vdsm-4.17.8-1.el7ev
libvirt: libvirt-1.2.17-5.el7

1. Performance test pass see comment 5
2. Functionality test check with last build (rhevm-3.6.0-0.18)
