+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #706924 +++ Description of problem: When I run the check_updates script the following is output: # /usr/lib64/nagios/plugins/check_updates CHECK_UPDATES UNKNOWN - unknown Linux distribution Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): nagios-plugins-check-updates-1.4.11-1.el6.x86_64 How reproducible: Install and run on RHEL7 I'm attaching a patch that fixes this.
Hi Oliver, The problem should be almost solved: * I've already sent a patch to the author of the check-updates plugin * He has already committed it and released check-updates 1.6.7 * I've already build it for rawhide * I've already ask for the EPEL7 branch (I believe it has already been created but I still haven't checked; the mails arrived this afternoon). But my problem is that I still don't have a RHEL7 system. Could you test the new version? The RPMs are here http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=539627 (they only contain non-binary files). Regards, jpo
