Doc Type: Enhancement
Doc Text:
Previously, during hosted engine setup, the list of interfaces was provided to use as the base for the "rhevm" network. If a VLAN-tagged interface was selected, the setup failed. Now if you setup the host by creating a VLAN-tagged interface before running hosted-engine --deploy you can use it as base for creating the rhevm bridge.

failing QA because of bug 1121145

Comment 3 Sandro Bonazzola 2014-07-24 12:17:29 UTC
Moving back to ON_QA now that all dependent bugs are in QA or verified

Comment 5 Michael Burman 2014-07-28 11:33:50 UTC
Verified on-ovirt-hosted-engine-setup-1.1.3-2.el6ev.noarch

After installation, the host status is up, but rhevm network is not synced.
If this should be the behavior, then it's should be documented in the admin guide.

Comment 6 Nir Yechiel 2014-07-28 12:02:54 UTC
@Michael, can you please confirm that once RHEV-M is up you can solve the sync issue by edit the logical 'rhevm' network and set the VLAN ID?

Thanks,
Nir

Comment 7 Michael Burman 2014-07-28 12:08:22 UTC
Once RHEV-M is up, i can solve the sync issue by edit the logical 'rhevm' network and set the VLAN ID. after updating the network, in [setup networks], the 'rhevm' network is synced.
