Description Yaniv Lavi 2014-07-13 08:38:29 UTC
Description of problem:
I'm using Fedora 20 with Cinnamon and a ViewSonic VS14591 (as external monitor) on a Lenovo T440s. Ever since I upgraded to 3.15.x kernel the external screen and settings are not detected correctly allowing only basic resolutions (going back to 3.14.x solves the issue). X log seems to list the correct resolutions when the monitor is corrected.

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Setup as listed above (Fedora 20 with Cinnamon and a ViewSonic VS14591 as external monitor on a Lenovo T440s)
2. Upgrade to 3.15.x kernel
3. Connect the monitor

Actual results:
Resolutions are limited and not loaded correctly

Expected results:
Should detect correct resolutions.

Fairly sure this is a duplicate of another bug. A fix should be coming shortly.
