Description of problem: Trying e.g. 'xdg-open /etc/fstab' doesn't show any window. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): gedit-3.13.91-1.fc21.x86_64 xdg-utils-1.1.0-0.25.rc2.fc21.noarch gvfs-1.21.90-1.fc21.x86_64 How reproducible: Always, here. Steps to Reproduce: 1.xdg-open /etc/fstab 2.gvfs-open /etc/fstab 3.gedit /etc/fstab Actual results: Window only opens in step 3. Expected results: Each step should open a window. Additional info: Weirdly, 'strace gvfs-open /etc/fstab' does open a window.
