I am receiving a very similar error: Fedora 20 x86_64 xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.21.15-9.fc20.x86_64 errors associated with Dec 4 16:54:42 patpat kernel: [487331.503114] WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 13974 at drivers/gpu/drm/i915/intel_display.c:3361 intel_crtc_wait_for_pending_flips+0x1a5/0x1b0 [i915]() Dec 4 16:54:42 patpat kernel: WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 13974 at drivers/gpu/drm/i915/intel_display.c:3361 intel_crtc_wait_for_pending_flips+0x1a5/0x1b0 [i915]() My display freezes but the mouse still is active but locked in the password box, I can sometimes remote in, switch to run level 3 and back to run level 5. It seems to happen when I have been running VMs (not sure if the VM has to be running for this to occure) and let the system go into screensaver (xscreensaver-5.31-1.fc20.x86_64 xscreensavers-gl-extras). If there is anything I can do to help narrow this down please let me know. Thanks.
