Comment 2 Helio Chissini de Castro 2014-11-25 23:28:58 UTC
System was running a composer ( plasma5 ) with compositor using in OpenGL 3.1, GLX interface.
Behavior was replicated as well with compositor using OpenGL 2.0 GLX interface.
Only using Xrender ( raster ) compositor system becomes stable.

Before the freeze period, system experience faster cpu usage, reach 100% previous freeze and crash.
All system functions becomes freeze for some time, restoring itself later.

Comment 3 Paulo Fidalgo 2014-12-29 11:34:33 UTC
Same error today... and I confirm the Helio's described behaviour.
