Description of problem:
Text selection of any dynamic data such as anything under Alerts/Events/Tasks or Hosts/General is cleared even when there are no updates, this makes copying challenging

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Select any text under the Alerts, Events and Tasks or in other dynamic fields throughout the UI (for example: Hosts/General tab – OS Version)

Actual results:
The selected text is unselected within a few seconds, even though the data itself doesn't change

Expected results:
The data should only be updated if there are changes.  The fact that data is updated even when no changes are processed is blocking copy/paste or else makes it very difficult

Additional info:
The headers themselves (static data) do not change

I couldn't reproduce this in Alerts/Events/Tasks or in Hosts/General tab; however, I could reproduce this in the main grids (see attachment 940486 [details] for demonstration in the VMs main grid). 
I assume that this behavior is due to the automatic refresh in the background; we would probably need to completely change the mechanism for GUI-rendering resulting from refresh-updates.

no activity on this BZ for 180 days, however most likely won't be taken care of for 3.6.0. 
so I will push to 4.0.0 once a '4.0.0' Target Release / 'rhevm-4.0.0' flag will be created in Bugzilla for the RHEV-M product.

Target release should be placed once a package build is known to fix a issue. Since this bug is not modified, the target version has been reset. Please use target milestone to plan a fix for a oVirt release.
