Description of problem: There is no single overview that lists both the outstanding errata and puppet changes on a node. This makes it hard to see quickly which hosts is out-dated (either by security packages or by configuration). Especially the Content hosts does not provide a summary table. The current view is easy to browse for the details, but not to get a common overview of all systems Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Single Table with pending changes. Single host details pages containing both Puppet and SubscriptionManager details. Additional info:
Since this issue was entered in Red Hat Bugzilla, the release flag has been set to ? to ensure that it is properly evaluated for this release.
With Satellite 6.1 we will show the applicable errata in the content host list as well as in the content host details page. Still need this for puppet modules though.
The change to the subject is incorrect, this RFE is to have a single combined overview of both rpm errata and puppet changes. The (katello) "content host" and (foreman) "host" shall be merged into a single entry presented to the user. Having them both in different locations does not provide the single overview of the state of the systems.
Per 6.3 planning, moving out non acked bugs to the backlog
In 6.2 the Hosts environment has a combined stastus of errata and config. A new BZ1394734 is created to have 2 status columns.
