Comment 2 Doron Fediuck 2014-10-19 06:17:48 UTC
Can you please provide the guest logs as well (mainly the watchdog ones)?

Comment 3 Michal Skrivanek 2014-10-21 11:26:33 UTC
I don't think guest-side watchdog is supported yet

Comment 4 Lukas Svaty 2014-10-21 12:13:55 UTC
Can you confirm this information?
If watchdog is not supported this should be put as RFE. And watchdog removed from engine.

Comment 5 Michal Skrivanek 2014-10-21 14:49:54 UTC
there are already patches for blocking watchdog. Vitor will update

Comment 6 Michal Skrivanek 2014-10-22 10:20:49 UTC
need a rel note that watchdog should not be used

Comment 7 Eyal Edri 2015-02-25 08:40:16 UTC
3.5.1 is already full with bugs (over 80), and since none of these bugs were added as urgent for 3.5.1 release in the tracker bug, moving to 3.5.2

Comment 8 David Gibson 2015-03-17 00:02:22 UTC
At present the i6300esb doesn't work on ppc at the qemu level. Adding a dep to bug 1198936 which covers this.

Leaving this open for now, in case there are also fixes needed in the intervening layers once we fix the qemu bug.

Comment 9 David Gibson 2015-03-24 22:41:48 UTC
The qemu level i6300esb bug noted in bug 1198936 now has a fix upstream. We'll be porting it downstream once it is merged.

Note, however, that bug 1198936 had the effect that the watchdog would immediately trigger, rather than never triggering. Since you're not seeing any watchdog action at the ovirt level, this suggests there is a different bug.

Have you verified that the ovirt watchdog configuration is making it into the libvirt xml, into the qemu command line and into the guest (as viewed with lspci).

Comment 11 Michal Skrivanek 2015-08-04 13:43:03 UTC
AFAIU it should work work, can you please retest

Comment 12 Martin Polednik 2015-08-05 13:13:55 UTC
