This crash [1] is occurring with a dozen other GTK+ programs. Reassigning to GTK+ for evaluation. [1] https://retrace.fedoraproject.org/faf/problems/141353/
(In reply to Michael Catanzaro from comment #12) > This crash [1] is occurring with a dozen other GTK+ programs. Reassigning to > GTK+ for evaluation. I wonder if we are doing something wrong, though, since we are hitting this crash more often than all other GTK+ apps combined. But I don't think any of the rendering code in WebKit changed recently, so I still suspect GTK+....

This might be memory corruption in WebKit; not really any way to be sure from just the backtraces. I guess because Epiphany crashes very regularly, deep inside GtkStyleContext. I'm going to mark a bunch of crashes inside GTK+ CSS code as duplicates, although in many cases the backtraces are different.

I hit this (or a similar) often. Is there anything I can do to help?

To me, this bug often happens when I switch from the Web window to another program window. When it happens, it happens *instantly*, in a way that would be quite a coincidence to be unrelated.

I think I can strongly say that this DOESN'T happen with GNOME Web's "Web Apps". Hope it is useful.

Hey, if the comment "Add a diagnostic patch to track down a frequent crash" in the "gtk3-3.16.4-2.fc22" update refers to this bug... Then I already did one micro-report with this update. See it here: https://retrace.fedoraproject.org/faf/reports/613148/ And tell me if I can provide something more.
(In reply to Diogo Campos from comment #41) > Hey, if the comment "Add a diagnostic patch to track down a frequent crash" > in the "gtk3-3.16.4-2.fc22" update refers to this bug... Yes, it does, but the assertions added in that patch aren't being hit unfortunately, as your report and many others have shown that the crashes are still the same. It was a good try, though.
