Description of problem:

Whenever I try to start esd as root it segfaults. 
Whenever I try to start esd as user it just shows the --help context.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Esound version 0.2.32
How reproducible:
esd -terminate -nobeeps -as 2 -d hw:0
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch esd
2. message => "Using device hw:0"
3. Segfault
  
Actual results:
Segfault
