Created attachment 990108 [details] screenshot Description of problem: Upgrade/Install Host dialog opens even when there is no newer version but same version (rhev-hypervisor6 rpm installed) exists. Thus this is not an upgrade. see screenshot Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): rhevm-webadmin-portal-3.5.0-0.31.el6ev.noarch How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. have rhevh installed 2. same version of rhevh rpm installed on engine 3. click Upgrade when host is in maintenance Actual results: opens Install Host dialog and seems to do an upgrade to same version (didn't test) Expected results: the dialog should not open, we are not upgrading, it is same version, this is confusing Additional info: fyi Reinstall works differently, it opens different dialog
This should have been handled by the 'Upgrade Host' feature. Please verify.
ok, rhevm 3.6.0-9
Moti, do we want to see in Upgrade Host dialog also current installed version of RHEVH? I mean, if there's newer rhevh iso but also one of the current host, Upgrade Host dialog lists both version - newer one and also current one. Seems unlogical to show current version if it is Upgrade Host dialog (upgrading to equal version?).

If the user wishes to reinstall it, it should be done by "Reinstall" action, not by "Upgrade".
