Hi Tina,

As per my understanding, this update adds the capability to send insight data into ServiceNOW CMDB as part of provisioning, retirement, and reconfigure. It is now possible to -
- Create ServiceNow CMDB Record,
- Delete ServiceNow CMDB Record,
- Get All ServiceNow CMDB record,
- Get ServiceNow CMDB Record, Update(Patch) ServiceNow CMDB Record and
- Update ServiceNow CMDB Record.

Do we have any documentation or any other information material that can help me understand the impact of this new enhancement on a CFME appliance and the benefit to the user?
I still do not understand how these features are accessed or configured - are they accessed from the web appliance?

Regards,
Shikha

Requesting information from John Hardy.

Hi Andrew,
I have created an Integration Guide under CloudForms 3.2 Beta docs suite, from the information provided in this link:
https://drive.google.com/a/redhat.com/file/d/0B1r65ocrRKMMbjhlMkdfVXNtVGc/view
As of now, the guide is like a place holder for this new feature and the content has not been tested or enhanced because of lack of a test instance and also it is too close to the Beta release now. I would like to add more information regarding the concepts and impact of this new feature on the CFME instance at a later time.
Changing the status of this bug to On_Dev.
Regards,
Shikha

Hi Andrew,
As suggested, I have updated the documentation name from "Integration Guide" to "Integration with ServiceNow"

Assigning Suyog as the QA contact.

Suyog - could you take a look at the content above? It should now be available in the Git repository.
