Red Hat Product Errata RHEA-2016:0425 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE rhevm-reports bug fix and enhancement update 2016-03-10 01:21:14 UTC

Description Shirly Radco 2015-03-25 13:09:39 UTC
Description of problem:
It is required to update the localization file for the ad hoc domains.
VM inventory domain was missing Users details and to change "network_name" to "logical_network_name"
There was also bug in the fields name and descriptions for clusters.

In Host inventory domain it was needed to change "network_name" to "logical_network_name" and "cluster name" was called by mistake "cluster CPU Name"

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
3.5

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Set up reports
2.Used VM / Host inventory domains
3.Select all field and see that they all appear and that the names are correct

Actual results:
Domains were broken and some data was not shown and got errors.
Also the names and descriptions were incorrect for clusters fields.

Expected results:
Should be able to use all fields and all fields should have proper translations.
Specifically the fields mentioned here.

Additional info:
This is only text bug and should be tested by the translations team.
QA team should setup the environment for testing.

Comment 3 Yuko Katabami 2015-12-16 09:31:32 UTC
@shirly, yaniv

Do you need our Simplified Chinese translator to verify this?
If so, could you please let me know the steps?

Comment 4 Bhushan Barve 2015-12-18 07:37:35 UTC
Verified with Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager Version 3.6.1.1-0.1.el6.

Still observing following issues with ad hoc reports.

it_IT: Columns names are not translated.

zh_CN: Error while adding domain fields.

Please see attached screenshots.

Moving it back to assigned.

zh_CN error

Comment 8 Shirly Radco 2015-12-21 09:28:08 UTC
We dont support it_IT for the data localization. It is supported by Jaspers framework. That means that the menus are translated to Italian but not the data itself.

Please use the latest version to test this since there was another bug that caused the Chinese domains to break (We added support to full length parentheses).

Comment 9 Bhushan Barve 2016-02-17 11:15:01 UTC
Verified with バージョン 3.6.3-0.1.el6.
The fields are now translated for zh_CN. No error observed while adding domain fields as mentioned in comment #4.
Marking it as Verified.
