Red Hat Product Errata RHBA-2015:1183 0 normal SHIPPED_LIVE Ceph bug fix and enhancement update 2015-06-24 19:49:46 UTC

Description Federico Lucifredi 2015-04-08 14:59:10 UTC
In 1.3 we are switching from Apache to Civetweb as the supported HTTP backend in RGW.

See: https://trello.com/c/4mYZVvii

Comment 1 Federico Lucifredi 2015-04-08 15:00:06 UTC
looks like we were missing a bug looking at trello today. Added in both tools.

Comment 2 Ken Dreyer (Red Hat) 2015-04-08 17:34:44 UTC
This feature requires rebasing ceph-deploy to a version that can manage RGW's civetweb configuration. I'll open a new BZ for that.

Comment 3 Ken Dreyer (Red Hat) 2015-04-08 22:33:32 UTC
Has any documentation been written yet for Civetweb?

I see there is a bit of ceph-deploy documentation, at http://ceph.com/docs/master/start/quick-ceph-deploy/#add-an-rgw-instance , but I can't find any other docs.

Comment 4 Federico Lucifredi 2015-04-08 22:39:45 UTC
#3 - We aim to not include cep-deploy in 1.3.0, it is only necessary initially for QA to have an installation tool. So a workaround/documentation as to how to carry the install is an acceptable solution if it helps save Ceph-deploy work.

Comment 7 shilpa 2015-06-15 09:09:23 UTC
Verified in 1.3.0
