Red Hat Ceph Storage 1.3 will be based on the latest release of ceph-deploy, which is currently v1.5.23. This version contains a number of feature enhancements and fixes in comparison to RHCS 1.2, notably civetweb integration (bug 1209975).

For QE: when the new Puppet-based installer lands, we will stop shipping ceph-deploy and QE will use the new installer instead. In the mean time, this ceph-deploy package will allow QE to get clusters up and running for basic testing.

Ken, we will check the version of ceph-deploy that we get for basic testing to verify the fix for this bug.

For QE: you can verify this bug by simply checking the RPM version after following the installation instructions.

"rpm -qv ceph-deploy" on your Calamari node should print "1.5.25-something"
