Description of problem: Newly httpd24-runtime in rhel-7 obsoletes all httpd24-apr* packages (bz 1088194), but there should not be any version hardcoded, because in this way, it wouldn't work if there is newer version in rhel-6. Otherwise we would have to always bump rhel-7 version when releasing any httpd24-apr*. Versionhttpd24-1.1-9.el7.x86_64-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1.rpm -q --obsoletes httpd24-runtime|sort Actual results: httpd24-apr <= 1.5.1-1.el7 httpd24-apr-devel <= 1.5.1-1.el7 httpd24-apr-util <= 1.5.4-1.el7 httpd24-apr-util-devel <= 1.5.4-1.el7 httpd24-apr-util-ldap <= 1.5.4-1.el7 httpd24-apr-util-mysql <= 1.5.4-1.el7 httpd24-apr-util-nss <= 1.5.4-1.el7 httpd24-apr-util-odbc <= 1.5.4-1.el7 httpd24-apr-util-openssl <= 1.5.4-1.el7 httpd24-apr-util-pgsql <= 1.5.4-1.el7 httpd24-apr-util-sqlite <= 1.5.4-1.el7 Expected results: httpd24-apr httpd24-apr-devel httpd24-apr-util httpd24-apr-util-devel httpd24-apr-util-ldap httpd24-apr-util-mysql httpd24-apr-util-nss httpd24-apr-util-odbc httpd24-apr-util-openssl httpd24-apr-util-pgsql httpd24-apr-util-sqlite Additional info: This is not much important, probably only scenario where this bug could appear is when updating by redhat-upgrade-tool and if there is newer version in httpd24-apr*.
I think we should keep tracking this for the future as a reminder in case we update RHEL6 httpd24-apr*, but it's not something we actually need to fix now.
