We have three bugs filed around this issue, and I think two would suffice:
- this bug
- bug 1217642
- bug 1170106
Ultimately the end goal is to include
- the QXL XDDM (windows 7 & windows server 2008 r2)
- and the QXL WDDM (windows 8 / windows 10 / windows server 2012 r2)
driver suites on the virtio-win ISO.
Right now none of those are present on the ISO. And, the VFD (floppy image) contains only the windows 7 & windows server 2008 r2 family (ie. XDDM).
So, I think, in the above set of three BZs, two are duplicates of each other.
We still need to ship the spice vdagent for full functionality though, right?
I note the spice-tools NSIS installer not only installs that but *also* the blnsvr.exe which might be a good idea.

there is no QXL WDDM, the WDDM DOD is under development, nothing to add to virtio-win RPM, moving to RFEs
