Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Brett Thurber 2015-05-13 21:08:05 UTC
Description of problem:
Choosing to create a custom product for docker images, when selecting the repo type of docker, there should be a check box under Sync Information that enables the Docker content available from Red Hat. That would then allow for a drop down menu of docker images to select from. I.E. rhel7/rhel, openshift3_beta/nodejs-010-rhel7, etc.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
6.1

How reproducible:
N/A

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Navigate to Content > Products > New Product
2. Create Repository and select the type of Docker
3. Under Registry URL provide an option for Red Hat content for example.

Actual results:
Manually enter URL to Registry and have to know the Docker image repo name.
https://access.redhat.com/search/#/container-images?q=&p=3&sort=relevant&documentKind=ImageRepository

Expected results:
Provide a check box vs. manual input of URL and figuring out the needed repo name.

Additional info:
Improved customer experience.

Since this issue was entered in Red Hat Bugzilla, the release flag has been
set to ? to ensure that it is properly evaluated for this release.

Comment 3 Dirk Herrmann 2015-10-16 14:05:02 UTC
I've filed a new bug last week which probably goes beyond that and is asking for support of docker search results to be used for repo discovery similar to yum repos: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1268026 . This won't be needed anymore if the Docker Images are available in the "Red Hat Repositories" menu below "Docker Images". As long as there are no images there we've asked to hide this tab: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1268089

Per 6.3 planning, moving out non acked bugs to the backlog

Would this BZ cover your expectations?
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1268026

If it does, I will mark this as a duplicate of that.

Looks to be. Thanks for checking.
