Ivan, can you please attach you stacktrace?
Should be somewhere in /var/spool/abrt/<your-bug>/
Are you using intel graphic?
If i'm not wrong than it's the same issue which is reported in ubuntu-mate.

Here, disable anmations is a workaround for the moment.
Use dconf-editor and navigate to /org/mate/desktop/interface and untick enable-animations.
