Created attachment 1030602 [details] sosreport and vdsm.log Description of problem: Tried to create a new VM out of a template (Blank, which doesn't have any disks attached), from the templates list (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1117484). In the VM creation prompt, created a new image disk. After its creation, the VM doesn't have any disks attached to it. The image creation request from admin is ignored by engine. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): ovirt-engine-3.6.0-0.0.master.20150519172219.git9a2e2b3.el6.noarch How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. In webadmin, navigate to Templates-> click on 'Blank' template-> 'New VM' 2. Create a disk from the VM creation prompt and commit VM creation by clicking OK Actual results: Image creation is not initiated by engine, the new VM is diskless. Here is the VM creation in engine.log: 2015-05-27 17:36:40,810 INFO [org.ovirt.engine.core.bll.AddVmFromTemplateCommand] (ajp--127.0.0.1-8702-3) [63e308b4] Running command: AddVmFromTemplateCommand internal: false.
